Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Sollyte mobile application, the Sollyte website, and any related services (together, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing or using Sollyte, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

If you are under 16, you may only use Sollyte with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Sollyte is a self-tracking and planning tool. It helps you record social interactions, estimate the energetic cost or gain of upcoming events, review daily recaps, and read or listen to educational material about social energy and personality.

Sollyte is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological or therapeutic advice, diagnosis or treatment. Battery percentages, event estimates and insights are informational approximations generated from the data you enter. They are not clinical measurements.

If you are struggling with your mental health, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. Do not rely on Sollyte in an emergency.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your device and account credentials secure. You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You may not share, sell or transfer your account, and you may not use another person's account without permission.

The interactions, events, notes and reflections you enter into Sollyte are yours. You retain all rights to them.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display that content strictly for the purpose of operating the Service for you, for example to calculate your battery level, produce your recaps and sync your data across your own devices. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to advertise to you.

When using Sollyte, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
• Interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service or the infrastructure it runs on.
• Use automated systems to scrape, harvest or bulk-download content from the Service.
• Upload unlawful content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
• Resell, sublicense or redistribute the library materials or any other part of the Service.

Sollyte offers free functionality and may offer optional paid plans. Paid plans purchased through the Apple App Store are billed and managed by Apple under Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your Apple account settings.

Where a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.

We may change our pricing. If we do, changes will not affect an active billing period that has already been paid for.

Sollyte, its name, logo, interface, library materials, scoring methodology and all related software are owned by Sollyte and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes, and nothing more.

We work to keep Sollyte available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be added, changed, restricted or removed as the product evolves. Where a change is material, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you in the app.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that estimates, projections or insights will be accurate, or that the Service will meet your requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sollyte and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or fifty United States dollars.

You may stop using Sollyte and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your licence to use the Service ends immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Sollyte is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
